And THAT answers the question what I've been doing during the last month. XD

Yeah, Maple Story (Europe) caught me from head to toe. X_X Wasn't online on MSN and ICQ because of it that much either. Wouldn't have drawn this neither, though there was a competition about drawing your own character of the game, portraiing him somehow. And well... I like drawing, so why shouldn't I give it a try?

That's what I thought, and this is how it went:
One week was over, the last week of the competition was running.
- I submitted my work that day.
- 2 days later, my work got online. However, the tags were formatted wrong, and since I had to put a certain tag in there for the picture to be added to the competition, it was disqualified.
- The next day, I reattempted the submission, with CORRECTLY formatted tags this time.
- 3 days later, the picture still wasn't online. In thought I would have accidently clicked the wrong submission button or something, I submitted the picture A THIRD TIME.
- Today. Still nothing online, and the contest ends tomorrow. The pictures weren't changed since yesterday, which means the admins probably take a break from going through the submissions for the weekend.
This means: This picture was not added to the contest, even though it should have THREE TIMES by now.

... rawr.

Anyway, for those not familiar with Maple Story: There are random benches standing in the towns. Actually, they're pointless, but if you press a certain button in front of them, you sit down on them and slowly restore some HP. Though, since there are better chairs that are actually PORTABLE (don't ask for logic here), those benches are normally forgotten. However, when I go afk for a while, I like to sit down on 'em. And that's how this picture came to my mind, and why this bench is called "AFK-bench" by me.

For the characters... the bowman sitting there is Alodo and the mage in the picture right is Furael. (I'm using both chars regularly, though recently Furael a bit more)
About the "Wanted"-sign all around, there was an event going on at that time, which caused random giant Boss-tomates to spawn in random towns, which gave me the inspiration to put THIS into the picture as well... just for random stuff to be in the pic.

Took my time for this one. First the research and training of course, then the details in the coloration/shading of the different kinds of wood and all and... well. I'm quite satisfied with the result. I still could have done better I guess, but at least I'm SATISFIED.

Though the story about the submission to the contest still bugs me a lot. >_<"
